Pasar Kemis, Tangerang Regency, Banten, IndonesiaThe Industrial Relations Lead is responsible for fostering and maintaining positive employee and labor union relations while ensuring full compliance with labor laws and company regulations. This role oversees collective bargaining agreement (CBA) negotiations, disciplinary processes, industrial dispute resolution, and employee relations matters to support a stable and productive work environment.
The position also acts as the company representative in engagements with labor unions, government agencies, and manpower authorities, while providing strategic recommendations to management on industrial relations issues. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution capabilities to proactively address workplace concerns and ensure fair, compliant, and effective outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Industrial Relations
- Strong knowledge of Labor Law and industrial relations practices/regulations
- Proven experience in developing and negotiating Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA)
- Hands-on experience handling industrial disputes, including bipartite discussions, mediation, and Industrial Relations Court processes
- Strong negotiation, mediation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in employee disciplinary processes and case management
- Ability to provide sound industrial relations advice and recommendations to management
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Experience representing the company before Manpower Offices and government institutions
- Familiarity with industrial relations documentation, reporting, and compliance management
Nice to Have
- Certification in Industrial Relations and/or Mediation
- Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably footwear manufacturing
- Strong leadership capability at Department Head level
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Understanding of OHS, Quality, Energy, and Environmental regulations
- Experience working with labor unions and cross-functional stakeholders
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and conflict management capability
