The Assistant Manager Outsole is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all outsole manufacturing activities, including mixing, pressing, and finishing processes, to ensure production output meets quality standards, delivery timelines, operational efficiency, and compliance requirements. This role manages manpower allocation, material usage, stock accuracy, and production flow while collaborating closely with internal teams, vendors, headquarters, and buyer representatives such as Nike to resolve operational and production-related issues.

The position also drives productivity improvement initiatives, including energy-saving and material-loss reduction programs, while maintaining strict quality control and waste management practices. Additional responsibilities include monitoring machine and equipment readiness, supporting preventive maintenance activities, leading production evaluations and meetings, and ensuring compliance with HSE/K3 standards, ISO systems, and company operational policies across all production areas.

In addition, the Assistant Manager Outsole is responsible for developing team capability through coaching and training initiatives, supporting buyer-driven projects, and making operational decisions related to production performance and workforce discipline within the assigned authority.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience as Supervisor, Leader, or equivalent role in outsole manufacturing within the footwear industry
• Strong technical understanding of outsole production processes
• Experienced in preparing SOPs, Work Instructions (WI), Process Flow Charts (PFC), and TPM implementation
• Able to interpret and manage PPIC production schedules
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Good understanding of Six Sigma, waste management, NOS, HSE/OHS standards, and ISO 9001/14001/18001/50001
• Familiar with buyer compliance programs
• Strong knowledge of workplace safety procedures and manufacturing regulations
