Colombo, Sri LankaINR 200,000 - 200,000/monthOne of our reputed clients in the FMCG & Tea Manufacturing Industry in India is urgently seeking experienced International Business Development Managers with strong exposure to the EU & USA markets. Candidates with proven experience in the tea industry and private label FMCG business development are highly preferred.
SALARY: INR 200,000 (Approx. LKR 700,000)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute business strategies for EU & USA market expansion.
- Identify and onboard international buyers, distributors, retailers, and private label clients.
- Promote private label tea and wellness beverage products to global markets.
- Handle client presentations, product sampling, pricing, negotiations, and contract finalization.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with international clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer preferences.
- Ensure compliance with international export standards and market regulations.
- Participate in international trade fairs, exhibitions, and B2B networking events.
- Track sales performance, business pipelines, and growth opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in FMCG export sales or international business development.
- Previous experience in the tea industry is mandatory.
- Strong exposure to EU & USA markets preferred.
- Experience in private label business development is an advantage.
- Knowledge of international compliance standards and export procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve international business targets.
