The Job
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software-related issues.
- Install, configure, maintain, and update operating systems and application software.
- Support and maintain internal network infrastructure, including troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues.
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on POS (Point of Sale) machines.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair 80mm and 58mm thermal receipt printers.
- Provide remote technical support using tools such as AnyDesk and UltraViewer.
- Maintain Repair Service Work Orders and ensure accurate service documentation.
- Prepare and issue repair quotations for repairable equipment and machines.
- Maintain service records and support timely resolution of technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with company service standards and technical procedures.
The Person
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Hardware, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in technical support, hardware maintenance, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing POS systems and peripheral devices.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Familiarity with remote support tools such as AnyDesk and UltraViewer.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills.
