Job Description:
About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented HR Generalist with 2–4 years of experience in the automobile dealership industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, and employee relations across dealership operations. The ideal candidate should understand dealership workforce dynamics and possess strong stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
• Manage end-to-end recruitment for dealership positions including Sales Executives, Service Advisors, Technicians, Customer Relationship Executives (CREs), Team Leaders, and Back-office staff.
• Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements and hiring plans.
• Source candidates through job portals, social media, employee referrals, consultants, and local hiring channels.
• Conduct initial screening, interview coordination, and offer management.
• Ensure timely onboarding and induction of new employees.
Employee Lifecycle Management:
• Manage employee onboarding, confirmations, transfers, promotions, and separations.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
• Update and manage HRMS and personnel files.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze attrition trends.
Attendance, Payroll & HR Operations:
• Monitor attendance, leave records, shift schedules, and overtime data.
• Coordinate payroll inputs and verify employee records for accurate salary processing.
• Support reimbursement and incentive-related documentation.
• Generate HR MIS reports related to manpower, attendance, recruitment, and attrition.
Employee Engagement & Welfare:
• Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, reward and recognition programs, festive celebrations, and team-building activities.
• Drive employee satisfaction and workplace culture initiatives.
• Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely manner.
• Promote employee welfare and retention programs.
Performance Management:
• Support implementation of performance appraisal processes.
• Track performance reviews, confirmations, and goal-setting activities.
• Coordinate with department managers to identify employee development needs.
• Assist in succession planning and talent development initiatives.
Training & Development:
• Coordinate induction and skill-development programs for dealership employees.
• Facilitate product, sales, customer service, and behavioral training programs.
• Maintain training records and monitor training effectiveness.
• Work with OEM training requirements and certification programs.
Compliance & Employee Relations:
• Ensure adherence to company HR policies and dealership standards.
• Support compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate documentation related to PF, ESI, gratuity, maternity benefits, and other employee benefits.
• Assist during audits and compliance reviews.
• Maintain healthy employee relations across sales, service, spare parts, and support functions.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
• MBA/PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
• 8 to 12 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in automobile dealerships, automotive retail, or related service industries.
Required Skills:
• Strong understanding of HR operations and employee lifecycle management.
• Experience in volume hiring and frontline workforce recruitment.
• Knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance.
• Payroll coordination and attendance management experience.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and HRMS systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven dealership environment.

Additional Information:
• This is 6 days work from office role
• Interview process- 3 rounds (1 F2F round is mandatory)

Required Qualification/Education:
Masters in Human Resource (Highly preferred)
