The Job

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, seminars, and workshops in Biomedical Engineering-related subjects.
• Prepare and update lecture materials, assignments, assessments, and examination papers.
• Evaluate student assignments, projects, and examination scripts.
• Supervise student projects, research activities, and dissertations.
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
• Support curriculum development and quality assurance initiatives.
• Assist in programme coordination, scheduling, and academic administration.
• Support student recruitment activities, webinars, open days, and intake management.
• Facilitate industry collaborations, internships, and career development opportunities.
• Contribute to research publications, conferences, and other academic activities.
• Assist the Head of Department in academic planning and departmental operations.
• Ensure high levels of student engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

The Person

• Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline.
• First Class, Second Class Upper, or Second Class Lower qualifications as specified by the institution.
• Minimum one (01) year of experience in teaching, research, industry, or postgraduate studies.
• Industry experience related to Biomedical Engineering will be an added advantage.
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge in Biomedical Engineering.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership and analytical abilities.
• Good planning, organizing, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, academic staff, and industry partners.
• Passion for teaching, student development, and academic excellence.
• Ability to contribute to programme coordination and academic quality enhancement.
