Profile
- You must have an outstanding academic and industrial track record with a recognized degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- Proven track record of technical leadership and mentoring junior team members in quality engineering practices.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, combined with a deep passion for driving high-quality software delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design, implementation, and scaling of robust, reusable test automation frameworks from scratch.
- Advanced, hands-on experience in BDD-driven automation test scripting (Java, Selenium, Appium, Cucumber) and architecting continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines for automated test suites.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC with the ability to influence process improvements, champion QA best practices, and drive shift left strategies.
- Deep understanding of the release scope, business context, and complex cross-product scenarios.
- Take strong ownership of end-to-end quality for the product, modules and suites, acting as the primary QA point of contact.
- Oversee the setup, maintenance, and optimization of test environments and test data strategies.
- Very good understanding of SQL database concepts and advanced querying for data validation.
- Lead defect triaging sessions, manage the bug life cycle, and proactively identify quality risks before production.
- Clear, influential communication with project managers, development leads, and key internal stakeholders to align quality goals.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with a heavy emphasis on automated testing.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of the software development process, including Agile methods.
- Use of Jira or equivalent issue tracking systems
