The L1 SOC Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analyzing security incidents and alerts to protect the organization's information systems. This role involves identifying, investigating, and responding to security threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with security policies, and collaborating with other security team members.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor security alerts and events from various security tools.
• Analyze and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
• Conduct initial triage of security alerts and escalate as necessary.
• Maintain incident response documentation and logs.
• Collaborate with other IT and security teams to improve security posture.
• Assist in vulnerability assessments and security audits.

Required Experience:

•⁠ ⁠Prior SOC experience (01) Year required

•⁠ ⁠Hands-on SIEM experience with 𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲, 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗹, 𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗥𝗵𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗺 is mandatory

•⁠ ⁠Ability to perform L1 alert triage, escalation, and incident documentation

•⁠ ⁠Good communication skills and ability to work in a shift-based SOC environment
