Primary Objective
The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for turning raw logistics, and warehouse data into clear, actionable insights. This role focuses on tracking end-to-end performance—from point of supply, lead times to final delivery—to spot bottlenecks, reduce operational waste, and ensure the deliverables are achieved. This role is ideal for those who are analytical, and eager to make an impact to the biggest distribution network of Pharmacy chain in Papua New Guinea operating out of Distribution Centre.

Internal – Senior management and leadership team at Supply Chain, Department Managers & Category Management
External – Stakeholders and other key organization
Responsibilites and Accountabilities
- KPI Tracking & Reporting: Compile and analyze weekly and monthly supply chain scorecards. Monitor critical metrics such as On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery rates, discrepancy rate, replenishment and put away, order fulfillment cycle times, supplier lead times, and freight costs.
- Inventory & Cycle count Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify stock variances, slow-moving stock, potential stockouts, and expiry risks (especially for temperature-sensitive or cold chain goods). Support the team during stocktake by analyzing inventory variances.
- Process Mapping & Bottleneck Identification: Spend time observing workflows across shipping & logistics, warehousing, and fleet operations. Map out current processes to isolate delays, manual bottlenecks, or single points of failure.
- Project Review and Management: Assist management in targeting short projects for gaining warehouse efficiencies in Picking, staging, receiving, replenishment, bin management etc.
- Fleet Performance Review: Track and analyze supplier delivery accuracy and fleet transit times. Highlight trends or recurring delays that impact the overall supply chain timeline.
- Data Integrity & System Support: Act as a database owner, ensuring that information in the Pronto ERP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) is clean, accurate, and aligned. Assist with testing new system reports or software updates
- Budget Reviews and reconciliation: Assist the senior management team on preparing data for the annual, quarterly and half yearly budget by identifying spending and present reviews and reconciliation report
Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Education: Grade 12 and above, Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a centralized warehouse or distribution facility includes reporting, logistics, order fulfillment, inventory or data-focused role. Candidates who have worked in warehouse operations with exposure to reporting and data analytics can apply.
Technical Skills:
MS Excel: Highly confident with Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and complex formulas to clean and summarize large datasets.
Systems Literacy: Hands-on with ERP systems Pronto will be an advantage. Exposure to Warehouse Management System is a must.
Data Visualization: Exposure to Power BI or Tableau for building simple, scannable dashboards is highly regarded.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical curiosity (asking "why" the numbers look a certain way), excellent communication skills to translate data for operational teams, and a hands-on attitude.
