Key Responsibilities:

• Review writer-produced SEO content in depth and collaborate with writers to refine it into top-ranked content across traditional search engines and AI-driven results.
• Develop and execute on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and search intent mapping.
• Perform technical SEO audits and resolve site issues (crawlability, indexing, site speed, Core Web Vitals).
• Optimize content for answer engines (AEO), targeting featured snippets, "People Also Ask" boxes, and voice search results.
• Optimize content for generative engines (GEO) so it surfaces in AI-driven results like Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.
• Build and manage effective link-building and internal linking strategies.
• Optimize website content, structure, metadata, and schema markup for search and AI visibility.
• Track, analyze, and report on organic performance across search, answer, and generative channels using analytics tools.
• Stay current with search engine algorithm updates, AI search trends, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, SEO Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Understanding of AEO and GEO principles and how AI answer engines surface and cite content.
• Proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Docs, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
• Experience with WordPress and content management systems.
• Solid understanding of keyword research, search intent, and content optimization.
• Familiarity with structured data and schema markup.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Available for online meetings and remote collaboration.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted SEO and content tools.
• Experience optimizing content specifically for AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, or similar generative platforms.
• Basic understanding of HTML and site structure.
• Experience with CRM tools such as Zoho is an added advantage.
