We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager – Product Delivery to join the team building Rooster. In this role, you'll lead end-to-end product delivery, collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients, drive successful project execution, and ensure high-quality outcomes that support Rooster's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project & Delivery Management:
- Own delivery end-to-end, managing product delivery from initiation to closure against customer’s scope, timeline, and budget.
- Build and maintain product delivery plans, schedules, and budgets, overseeing implementation across internal teams and delivery partners.
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies, developing contingency plans and escalating early where needed.
- Track progress and performance, communicating clear, regular updates to stakeholders at every level.
- Product Alignment:
- Work with Product and BA teams to translate roadmap priorities and client requirements into deliverable project plans.
- Coordinate release and rollout planning across product lines and client segments, balancing new development against stability and support needs.
- Represent delivery constraints and realities back into product and roadmap conversations, so commitments stay grounded in what's actually buildable.
- Stakeholder & Team Leadership:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, requirements, and success metrics.
- Lead project teams, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure successful delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and issue resolution, internally and with clients.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.
Added Advantage – Operational Ownership:
This role has room to grow beyond delivery into broader operational ownership. Experience or appetite for the following will be viewed favorably:
- Product profitability management, understanding cost drivers, margins, and commercial trade-offs well enough to influence pricing and scope decisions.
- Customer support and relationship management, owning or overseeing post-launch client support and account health, not just delivery handoff.
- Sales team handling, supporting or coordinating with a sales functions, pipeline visibility, deal support, or direct people management experience.
Requirements:
- Experience: At least 3+ years as a Project Manager with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Experience in a software or SaaS product environment is preferred.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, guide, and align multiple cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, including clients.
- Agile & Scrum: Strong understanding of the Scrum framework and Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience managing Agile delivery teams.
- Tools & Methodology: Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. Experience using Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to effectively manage multiple teams, competing priorities, and diverse stakeholder groups in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent are preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
