As a Clinic Nurse, you will be responsible to deliver affordable, quality and better healthcare to our customers be internally (Employees) or externally (Patients) in a professional and timely manner.
The role will be supporting the retail pharmacy in its day-to-day sales. Whilst ensuring daily reports are maintained and reported monthly to the shop managers, while ensuring compliance with clinical standards.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and management, to promote employee health and wellbeing in your workspace and implement preventative health initiatives, and support workplace safety programs, while also providing general clinical support to ensure the effective operation of the clinic.
Responsibilities:
· Provide primary healthcare services, including assessment, treatment, and ongoing monitoring of employees’ medical conditions
· Administer medications, issue prescriptions, and treat patients in accordance with medical standard treatment guidelines.
· Deliver first aid and respond promptly to workplace medical emergencies and incidents.
· Assess and manage work-related injuries, including documentation and follow-up care.
· Maintain accurate daily datasheet for patient attendance, patient confidentiality, and privacy in accordance with clinical standard operating procedures and policies.
· Assist medical practitioners during consultations and minor procedures as required
· Promote employee health and wellbeing through education, awareness, and preventative programs.
Ensure compliance with infection prevention control, occupational health, and workplace safety standards
Qualifications and Experience:
· Diploma or bachelor’s degree in nursing
· Current registration with the Nursing Council of Papua New Guinea
· Valid practicing licence
· Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a clinical, hospital, or company clinic setting
· Have a Current ATP (Accreditation to Practice License)
