As a Stock Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management, accuracy, and availability of inventory to support the day-to-day operations of the business. You will maintain optimal stock levels, oversee receiving and dispatch processes, conduct regular stock reconciliations, and ensure inventory records are accurate and up to date.

The role will support store and warehouse operations by monitoring stock movements, investigating discrepancies, preparing inventory reports, and ensuring that products are available to meet customer and business demands in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

· Manage and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure stock availability and minimize stock variances.

· Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests to prevent stock shortages and overstocking.

· Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery documentation.

· Coordinate the timely and accurate dispatch of stock to stores, customers, and other business locations.

· Conduct regular stocktakes, cycle counts, and inventory audits, investigating and resolving discrepancies.

· Maintain accurate stock movement records through inventory management systems and manual documentation where required.

· Support the implementation and continuous improvement of stock control processes and procedures.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory control standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualifications and Experience

· Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Business Administration, or a related field.

· Minimum 2–3 years' experience in stock control, inventory management or retail operations, preferably within a hardware or retail.

· Strong understanding of stock control processes, stocktaking, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.

· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.

· Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
