Job Description – CCTV Technician

Position: CCTV Technician Location: Nugegoda

We are looking for a skilled and responsible CCTV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in CCTV installation, networking, troubleshooting, maintenance, and monitoring systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain CCTV camera systems (IP & Analog)
• Perform CCTV camera installation, cable laying, testing, and commissioning
• Configure DVR/NVR systems and ensure proper recording functionality
• Handle CCTV system monitoring and identify technical issues
• Troubleshoot and repair CCTV cameras, recording devices, and related equipment
• Perform regular maintenance and servicing of CCTV systems
• Configure network settings, IP addresses, switches, and routers related to CCTV systems
• Conduct site inspections and recommend suitable CCTV solutions
• Maintain proper documentation of installations, repairs, and service activities
• Ensure all CCTV systems are functioning efficiently and securely

Requirements:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in CCTV installation and maintenance
• Knowledge of CCTV systems, DVR/NVR, IP cameras, and networking
• Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and IP configurations
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and handle field assignments
• Valid driving license will be an added advantage
