About the Engagement

We are seeking an experienced consultant with broad, working knowledge across the Intapp platform — spanning its functional modules, technical configuration, and integration capabilities. Rather than deep specialization in a single module, we are looking for a well rounded generalist who understands how Intapp fits into a law firm's wider technology landscape and can support implementation, configuration, customization, integration, and optimization initiatives for law firm clients on a flexible, hourly-billed consultancy basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for independent professionals or boutique consultancies with proven, cross-functional Intapp experience to work on high-impact projects with global law firms.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional and/or technical consulting across Intapp modules, including Intapp Open, Intapp Time, Intapp Walls, Intapp Intake, and Intapp DealCloud
• Support system implementation, upgrades, migrations, and configuration across one or more Intapp modules
• Design and build custom workflows, reports, and integrations specific to law firm business processes (billing, time entry, conflicts, intake, matter management, financial management)
• Build and maintain integrations between Intapp and other firm systems (practice management, document management, and financial systems) using Intapp Integration Builder, Intapp Integration Service (IIS), or API-based methods
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, performance bottlenecks, and data integrity concerns across the Intapp ecosystem
• Collaborate with client IT teams, finance teams, and end users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Conduct testing, quality assurance, and validation of configurations/customizations
• Document technical specifications, configuration changes, and end-user guides
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to client teams as needed
• Support post-go-live stabilization and ongoing optimization

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3–5+ years of hands-on experience working with the Intapp platform overall, ideally spanning exposure to multiple modules (e.g., Intapp Open, Time, Walls, Intake, DealCloud) rather than a single area
• Practical experience integrating Intapp with other firm systems — via Intapp Integration Builder, Intapp Integration Service (IIS), or API-based development (REST, OAuth2, OData)
• Strong understanding of law firm operations: billing, time entry, matter management, conflicts checking, business intake, and financial reporting
• Comfort working across both functional configuration and technical/integration tasks, rather than one or the other exclusively
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills for client-facing engagements

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications or formal training on the Intapp platform
• Experience with practice/financial management systems such as Elite 3E or Aderant, particularly integrating them with Intapp
• Development background (e.g., .NET, C#, Web API) supporting Intapp customization or integration work
• Experience with legal tech ecosystem tools (iManage, NetDocuments, Chrome River, Litera, etc.)
• Prior consulting/freelance experience serving international clients
• Experience working across different time zones with global teams
