📍 Location: WFO or Onsite, Colombo (Sri Lanka)

📄 Category: Full-time, 12-month contract (1 YR FTC)

⏱️ Notice Period: Immediate joiners or up to 1 month

💼 Experience: Minimum 5+ years hands-on exposure

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build microservices and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Model data and integrate with relational databases and messaging systems.
• Ensure services meet performance, reliability, and security requirements.
• Write automated tests and maintain high code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
• Support services in production, including troubleshooting and tuning

Education & Relevant Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of backend development experience in Java.
• Travel, airline, or e-commerce platform experience is preferred.

Knowledge, Skill, Abilities & Others (KSAOs)

• 5+ years of backend development experience in Java.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
• REST API design and microservices architecture.
• Solid SQL skills (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
• Messaging or streaming experience (Kafka or RabbitMQ).
• Automated testing (JUnit) and Git based CI/CD workflows.
• Containerization with Docker.
• Kubernetes and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Event driven and distributed systems patterns.
• Travel or airline domain experience.
• NoSQL data stores.
• Fluent in English
