WE’RE HIRING | ACCOUNTANT

Infinite Business Ventures (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team.

The successful candidate will manage key financial operations, ensure the accuracy of financial records, maintain statutory compliance, and provide reliable financial insights to support business decisions across our growing retail and e-commerce operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare monthly financial statements, management accounts, ledgers, and balance-sheet schedules • Manage accounts payable and receivable while ensuring timely payments and collections • Perform bank, supplier, customer, and intercompany reconciliations • Monitor cash flow and support working-capital management • Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis • Maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, expenses, and business transactions • Ensure compliance with tax, payroll, statutory, and internal accounting requirements • Support internal and external audits and coordinate with auditors • Monitor financial controls and recommend improvements • Provide management with insights on costs, profitability, and financial performance

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Part or full qualification in CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional body • 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience • Experience in retail, fashion, trading, or e-commerce will be an advantage • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, payroll, and statutory compliance • Proficiency in accounting systems such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP platforms • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities • High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
