EXECUTIVE – MERCHANDISER

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the sample development process from initial concept through to final approval.

• Prepare detailed cost sheets and negotiate pricing with suppliers and factories.

• Coordinate closely with design, sourcing, production, and other relevant teams throughout the development process.

• Track sample development timelines and ensure samples are submitted to buyers on schedule.

• Analyze fabric, trims, CM, and other production costs to support competitive pricing.

• Maintain accurate records of costing history, product specifications, and development status.

• Respond to buyer queries related to samples, costing, specifications, and product development.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Apparel/Fashion Merchandising, Textile, or a related field.

• 2 - 4 Years of relevant experience in Costing and development merchandising.

• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric costing, trim costing, and manufacturing processes.

• Strong negotiation, analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of PLM systems will be an added advantage.
