We are seeking a passionate Technical Lead - Software Engineering to lead our development team in Noida. The ideal candidate is an experienced technical leader who has led a team of 4 to 8 engineers and delivered high-quality enterprise softwares in a fast-paced Agile environment.

General Purpose:

• Lead a team of 4 to 8 engineers with complete ownership and accountability for high-quality, timely software delivery. • Lead the design and development of applications based on Microservices architecture. • Guide team members on modern technologies including Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Angular, Hibernate, Grails, Groovy, Kafka, R, Redis, Hazelcast, Bootstrap and jQuery. • Leverage development and delivery tools including AWS, Git, Nginx, Jira, Confluence and Jenkins within Agile methodologies. • Promote effective use of AI-assisted software engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Amazon Q Developer and similar AI coding, code-review, testing, documentation and developer productivity tools, while ensuring secure and responsible adoption. • Collaborate with technical managers, architects and product owners to build an integrated, enterprise-class software product suite for global pharmaceutical companies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the team in understanding product requirements by collaborating with Product Owners; design application modules and features for performance, scalability, security and availability. • Plan, prioritize and monitor team tasks for upcoming sprints and product releases. • Conduct design reviews and code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues and provide hands-on technical guidance. • Own the quality and timely delivery of tasks assigned to the team. • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Project Managers, Test Managers, Database teams and Quality teams to deliver product features, releases and technical PoCs using Agile methodologies. • Define, improve and enforce engineering best practices covering architecture, design, coding standards, code review, unit testing and documentation. • Evaluate and drive practical adoption of AI-assisted engineering tools to improve developer productivity, code quality, test automation, documentation and troubleshooting. • Establish appropriate review and governance practices for AI-generated code, including security, maintainability, licensing, data privacy and adherence to engineering standards. • Perform annual appraisals and participate in semi-annual formal feedback cycles for team members. • Own hiring, mentoring, grooming and development of team members in both technology capabilities and career progression. • Proactively identify and communicate improvement opportunities related to people, processes, technology, quality and delivery to management.

Must Have Qualifications:

• BE/B.Tech/MCA from a recognized institute with a good academic record. • At least 6+ years of full-stack programming experience across Java-based technologies and frameworks. • Strong experience with Spring Framework and Hibernate-based web application development. • Strong experience designing and developing high-performance, scalable, secure and highly available enterprise web applications end to end. • Strong problem-solving, debugging and troubleshooting skills. • Hands-on approach to resolving complex technical challenges faced by the team. • Good working exposure to relational databases such as MySQL and Oracle. • Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q Developer, Cursor, Claude Code or equivalent tools is highly desirable. • Understanding of effective and responsible use of AI tools for coding, refactoring, test generation, code review, documentation and developer productivity. • Self-driven and motivated leader who can drive quality and timely delivery with complete ownership and accountability. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to take initiative, make sound technical decisions and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• This is 5 days work from office role in Noida • Interview process: 2 to 3 rounds (Technical)/ 1 F2F interview mandatory)
