Sales Executive

Zegates International | Full-time | Colombo, with island-wide client visits

We are hiring a Sales Executive to sell our two software products, a point of sale system and an HR and recruitment platform. You will work across both product lines and sell to two different types of buyer, from business owners to HR and hiring teams.

What you will do

• Prospect and build a pipeline of new business customers for both products
• Identify which product fits a prospect and position it accordingly
• Run product demonstrations on-site and online
• Own the full sales cycle from first contact through to close
• Hand closed accounts to the implementation team and stay in touch through go-live
• Share customer feedback with the product team
• Meet monthly and quarterly targets and report on pipeline accurately

What we are looking for

• At least 1 year of experience in sales or a related commercial role
• Confident presenting software to non-technical buyers
• Able to learn two products well enough to demo either with confidence
• Strong spoken Sinhala and English, with Tamil an advantage
• Organised, with the discipline to keep a pipeline moving across both product lines
• Willing to travel for client visits, own vehicle an advantage
• Experience selling B2B software or SaaS is an advantage
