One of our reputed international clients is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Manager – Business Development, Industry Services to lead business development, sales and key account activities across Sri Lanka and Maldives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing strategic client relationships, expanding the sales pipeline and achieving agreed revenue targets within the industrial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies.
• Identify new business opportunities across Oil & Gas, Power & Energy, Infrastructure, Manufacturing and Industrial Projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with key industrial clients.
• Develop and manage the sales pipeline.
• Promote Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) services.
• Support tender preparation, proposals, commercial negotiations and contract finalisation.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Identify opportunities for business growth within existing accounts.
• Lead and manage the business development team.
• Achieve agreed sales, revenue and business development targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in business development, sales or key account management.
• Strong experience in industrial, engineering, energy, infrastructure or related sectors.
• Established professional network within Sri Lanka's industrial, energy or infrastructure sectors.
• Exposure to the Maldives market will be an advantage.
• Experience in Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) will be highly advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of industrial inspection, NDT, QA/QC and asset integrity services.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• Strong leadership and commercial/business development skills.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification will be an advantage.
