We are seeking a highly skilled GDS Integration Engineer (Python/Django) to lead the development, and scaling of core travel technology platforms built on the Amadeus GDS. This role requires an engineer who thoroughly understands the full PNR lifecycle, complex OTA schemas, and the intricacies of operating mission travel infrastructure.

Amadeus GDS integrations covering SOAP and REST protocols, booking flows, payment processing, automation workflows, and modern cloud deployment. GDS protocols with modern cloud, containerized architectures, and agentic AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Amadeus GDS integrations across both CLI (cryptic) and GUI-based workflows with a focus on high availability, security, and low latency.
• Execute integration flows for Amadeus REST and SOAP APIs, handling WSDL parsing, Base64 payload management, SHA1 request signing, and session management.
• Manage PNR lifecycle structures and OTA schemas, proactively adapting backend systems to schema updates and service modifications released by Amadeus.
• Build robust backend services in Python and Django while developing responsive frontend interfaces in React.js.
• Implement and manage secure payment gateway integrations utilizing Stripe and Tap.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on AWS (EC2, ECR, S3) using Kubernetes for cluster orchestration.
• Establish, maintain, and optimize automated CI/CD deployment pipelines for continuous delivery and testing.
• Build and maintain workflow automation engines using n8n to eliminate operational overhead and streamline business logic.
• Implement GenAI and agentic capabilities using RAG architectures, LangGraph-based agents, and vector workflows to automate complex travel processes.
• Evaluate, structure, and optimize codebases across monolithic and microservice boundaries based on operational demands.
• Author clear System Requirements Specifications (SRS) documentation and generate UML architecture diagrams to map out technical designs.
• Drive engineering standards through disciplined code reviews and collaborative task management within Git and Jira.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, including a strong track record of hands-on production automation.
• Proven experience building and shipping at least one production grade application integrated directly with Amadeus GDS APIs.
• Deep knowledge of Amadeus interfaces (both CLI cryptic and GUI-based workflows), alongside practical implementation of REST and SOAP protocols.
• Expert understanding of WSDL, Base64 encoding, SHA1 request security, PNR lifecycle structures, and standard OTA schemas.
• Proficiency in backend development using Python and Django, alongside practical frontend experience in React.js , Flutter or React Native
• Solid experience deploying cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, ECR, RDS, S3) and managing containerized applications with Kubernetes , managing build automation with Jenkins
• Hands on experience creating and maintaining automated workflows using n8n.
• Practical exposure to modern AI/ML frameworks, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and LangGraph for agentic workflows.
• Demonstrated experience with payment gateway integrations, specifically Stripe and Tap.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline automation and Git version control workflows (GitHub or Bitbucket).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
