The Job

• Lead day-to-day academic operations, timetable scheduling, and curriculum execution.
• Ensure IT degree programmes meet higher-education standards and quality guidelines.
• Supervise and coordinate academic staff, tutors, and visiting lecturers.
• Manage departmental resources, teaching workloads, labs, hardware/software, and networking/security tools.
• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions.
• Develop teaching materials, assessments, and practical lab workbooks.
• Supervise final-year research projects, capstone projects, and dissertations.
• Provide student guidance, academic support, and timely feedback.
• Maintain hands-on proficiency with modern networking and security tools.

The Person

• Master’s Degree (MSc) or MPhil in Cyber Security, Network Security, Information Technology, or Computer Science from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 2–3 years of undergraduate-level lecturing experience.
• Experience in academic coordination, module leadership, or administrative management.
• Strong academic leadership, operational management, and staff workload management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a student-focused approach.
