LECTURER / SENIOR LECTURER (G-I / G-II) – MECHATRONICS ENGINEERING

(FULL-TIME & PART-TIME)

The Faculty of Engineering at Lyceum Campus is expanding its academic team to deliver undergraduate programmes in Mechatronics Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and to inspire, mentor and prepare our students for the future of engineering.

Lecturer

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a relevant Engineering discipline.
• First Class or Second Class Upper Division preferred.

Senior Lecturer

• MPhil, Master’s and/or Doctoral Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a relevant Engineering discipline.
• Proven track record in research.

Key Requirements

• Previous teaching/lecturing experience in a higher education institution is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Robotics, Automation, Control Systems, PLCs, Sensors, Microcontrollers and Embedded Systems.
• Practical knowledge of relevant engineering software and laboratory equipment.
• Industry experience will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant industry experience will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct lectures, tutorials and practical/laboratory sessions.
• Develop course materials, assessments and learning resources.
• Supervise student projects and provide academic guidance.
• Assess and monitor student performance.
• Contribute to curriculum development, research and other academic activities.
• Support industry engagement and practical learning initiatives.
