Manager - Business Development (Male)
Lyceum Placements Qatar (Private) Limited, a member of Lyceum Global Holdings, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager - Business Development to lead international education business development and student recruitment initiatives in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development, marketing, and operational plans to achieve student recruitment, enrolment, and revenue targets.
- Lead student recruitment, lead-generation, conversion, and university placement activities across assigned markets.
- Identify new markets, study destinations, universities, recruitment channels, and business development opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international universities, education partners, schools, students, parents, and other key stakeholders.
- Coordinate student applications and related visa processes while ensuring compliance with relevant requirements.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns, communication initiatives, programme launches, and promotional activities in collaboration with internal teams.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, campaign performance, lead conversions, and business results to identify growth opportunities.
- Lead and manage the team, prepare performance reports for management, and represent Lyceum Placements at relevant external meetings and events.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Business, Marketing, International Education, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business development, international education, student recruitment, study abroad, education consultancy, sales, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a managerial or team leadership role, with the ability to lead teams and achieve business or recruitment targets.
- Strong knowledge of international university admissions, student recruitment, university placement, and visa/application processes.
- Experience working with international universities and education partners; previous experience in the Qatar/GCC education market will be highly advantageous.
- Strong communication, negotiation, relationship management, interpersonal, and business development skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, and time-management abilities, with a results-oriented approach.
- Excellent command of English and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment; knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage.
