Primary Objective
To assist the Manager in leading and coordinating daily operations, ensuring the efficient delivery of services, achievement of business objectives, and maintenance of high standards of customer service, team performance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and oversight of daily business operations.
- Support the Manager in achieving operational and strategic objectives.
- Supervise, coach, and motivate staff to maintain high levels of performance and productivity.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and development support.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet operational needs.
- Resolve customer, employee, and operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare reports, maintain records, and provide updates to management.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
- Support budget monitoring and cost-control initiatives.
- Act on behalf of the Manager during periods of absence and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory, team leader, or management role.
- Proven experience in coordinating day-to-day operations and leading teams to achieve business objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage staff performance, employee development, and workplace issues effectively.
- Experience in customer service, stakeholder engagement, and problem resolution.
- Sound understanding of business operations, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong reporting, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Experience in budget monitoring, resource planning, and operational coordination is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
