As a Project Engineer, you will turn approved designs into programmes, drawings and records – so every project runs to a plan, the site team knows what lands when, and the job hands over with a complete dossier.
What you'll do
- Project planning - Build and maintain the programme for every project – milestones, look-aheads and deadlines.
- Drawings - Produce and control shop drawings, layouts and as-builts in AutoCAD; manage the revision register.
- Material call-offs - Turn approved designs into dated call-off schedules and hand them to procurement in time.
- Documentation - Submittals, method statements, RFIs and variation records – filed, numbered and current.
- Progress reporting - Weekly progress against programme, delay causes, and the report the client reads.
- Quality and commissioning - Test records, snag lists, and chasing them to closure.
- Handover - Assemble the O&M manual and handover dossier – drawings, warranties, test and training records.
What we're looking for
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Building Services or Construction Engineering.
- 3–5 years in project engineering, planning or site coordination – ELV, MEP, AV or building services.
- Fluent in AutoCAD, and working knowledge of MS Project or Primavera. Strong Excel.
- Able to read and coordinate architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Clear technical English – you will write documents that clients and consultants read.
- Methodical, organised, and persistent enough to get information out of busy site teams.
