Are you an experienced Sales & Marketing professional with strong knowledge of microbiology and laboratory products?

We are looking for a Product Manager – Microbiology to join our team and take responsibility for driving product promotion, sales, marketing, and business development activities.

📍 Location: Colombo 08

💼 Work Mode:Field-Based

💰 Gross Salary:LKR 100,000 – 250,000

💵 Additional Benefits: Commission + Fuel Allowance + Vehicle Allowance

📅 Working Days: 5 days per week

🔬 Key Responsibilities

• Drive the promotion and sales of microbiology and laboratory products.
• Manage both sales and marketing activities independently.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and product demonstrations where required.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable laboratory products and solutions.
• Develop and execute effective sales and marketing initiatives to achieve business targets.
• Support the growth and market presence of assigned microbiology products.
• Travel within Colombo and surrounding areas, with island-wide travel when required.

✅ Key Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Sales & Marketing.
• Mandatory experience in industrial laboratory products/equipment.
• Mandatory knowledge and experience with microbiology products/equipment.
• Proven experience handling both sales and marketing responsibilities.
• Strong product knowledge and understanding of laboratory applications.
• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification; Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) or a related scientific/laboratory qualification will be considered.
• Previous Product Manager experience is not mandatory relevant Sales & Marketing professionals from the laboratory industry are welcome to apply.
• Strong communication, presentation, customer relationship management, and business development skills.
• Ability to independently manage field sales and marketing activities.
• Valid driving licence and own vehicle are required.
• Willingness to travel island-wide when required.
