One of our prestigious clients in Kuwait is looking for experienced Junior Electrical Estimation Engineers to join their team immediately.

The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing electrical estimates, BOQs and quantity take-offs, analyzing project requirements, supporting tendering activities, coordinating with suppliers and ensuring accurate costing for building and infrastructure projects.

SALARY: KWD 200 – 300

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates for building and infrastructure projects.
• Analyze project drawings, specifications and tender documents to determine project requirements.
• Prepare BOQs and accurate quantity take-offs for electrical works.
• Calculate material, labour and equipment costs for electrical works.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and commercial proposals.
• Review tender documents and identify project scope and requirements.
• Support tendering activities and assist in preparing competitive bids.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations and technical information.
• Review supplier and subcontractor quotations and compare pricing.
• Assist with cost optimization and value engineering where required.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement and project teams regarding project requirements.
• Maintain accurate estimation records, cost data and supporting documentation.
• Assist in reviewing project variations and cost impact assessments.
• Monitor market prices and maintain updated cost information for electrical materials and equipment.
• Ensure estimates are prepared accurately and within required deadlines.
• Provide technical and commercial support to senior estimation engineers and project teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

• B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of Gulf experience in electrical estimation or a relevant engineering role.
• Relevant experience in building and infrastructure projects.
• Good knowledge of electrical BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs.
• Good understanding of electrical drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Experience in preparing electrical cost estimates.
• Good knowledge of electrical tendering procedures and documentation.
• Experience in supplier and subcontractor quotation evaluation.
• Good understanding of electrical materials, equipment and installation requirements.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively under deadlines and support multiple tender requirements.
