The Company

We are a fast-growing American technology company specialising in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Workflow Automation and Intelligent Data Solutions, building production software for US businesses in property management, insurance and financial services. We work on genuine production software systems companies run their operations on, not prototypes. Our engineering team is remote and distributed. The culture is senior-leaning and autonomy-heavy: people are expected to own a problem end to end rather than wait to be handed tickets.

The Role

We're looking for a full-stack engineer who is strong in Python and React, and who genuinely knows how to build with AI.

Most of what we do is automation: software that takes work a person currently does by hand — pulling data out of one system, checking it, deciding something, putting the result somewhere else — and makes it run by itself, with a clean interface so people can see and control it.

Increasingly, the "decides something" part is handled by an AI model rather than hand-written rules, and the building itself is done alongside AI coding tools. We're looking for someone who is already working this way.

• Location: Sri Lanka-based, fully remote / work from home
• Working Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM Sri Lanka time
• Salary Paid in USD

What You'll Do

• Build backend services and automation in Python (Django / DRF / FastAPI)
• Build the interfaces that sit on top of them in React + TypeScript
• Design and build workflow automations and data pipelines, integrating with external and often messy third-party systems
• Work with LLMs and AI agents as part of the product, not just as a coding aid
• Use AI coding tools to move fast — and apply the judgement to know when their output is wrong
• Make real architectural decisions: how a system is structured, where data lives, how it holds up as it grows
• Work directly with US-based clients and colleagues

What We're Looking For

• 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong Python — backend services, automation, or data work
• Strong React — real production interfaces; TypeScript preferred
• Genuine fluency with AI tools — you use them daily, and you can tell when they're wrong
• A good grasp of how systems fit together: databases, APIs, services, queues
• Excellent English, spoken and written — you'll be in direct contact with US clients
• A real problem solver: someone who digs into why something is broken rather than trying things until it works
• Our stack: Python (Django, DRF, FastAPI), Celery/django-q2, Redis, PostgreSQL / SQL Server; React 18 + TypeScript + Redux Toolkit + MUI; n8n and Claude-based agents for workflow automation.

Nice To Have

• Celery or other background-job systems; Redis; PostgreSQL / SQL Server
• Having built something with an LLM API — RAG, agents, structured extraction
• Browser automation (Selenium / Playwright)
• Power Platform, Node.js, React Native
• Exposure to RPA or workflow tools (n8n, Power Automate, Zapier, UiPath)
