Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Assistant Sales Manager to support the Sales Manager in achieving business targets, recruiting Insurance Advisors, and strengthening sales performance. This role is ideal for individuals with sales experience or strong leadership potential who are eager to grow their careers in the insurance and financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Sales Manager in achieving monthly and annual sales targets.

• Recruit, train, and develop Insurance Advisors.

• Conduct product training, sales coaching, and daily or weekly team briefings.

• Generate new prospects through personal networks, referrals, corporate contacts, and field activities.

• Monitor Advisor activities, appointments, proposals, and sales conversions.

• Accompany Advisors to client meetings and assist with presentations and closing sales.

• Maintain strong customer relationships and support after-sales service.

• Conduct recruitment interviews and assist with onboarding new Advisors.

• Prepare regular sales and recruitment performance reports.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• G.C.E. O/L and A/L qualifications or equivalent.

• Previous sales experience is preferred; insurance or financial services experience is an advantage.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

• Leadership potential and the ability to motivate others.

• Target-oriented, proactive, and willing to work in the field.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Salary & Benefits

• **Basic Salary:** LKR 35,000 per month.

• **Commission:** Additional commission based on the applicable sales and performance scheme.
