JUNIOR EXECUTIVE – SALES

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in selecting the correct uniforms, sizes, and quantities; explain pricing and recommend relevant add-on products such as ties, badges, socks, belts, and bags.

Billing & Order Management: Handle cash, card, and bank transfer payments; manage exchanges, returns, pending orders, and customer inquiries while maintaining accurate records.

Sales Targets & Business Development: Work towards daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets, particularly during peak school seasons; follow up with parents and schools for repeat and bulk orders.

Shop & Stockroom Management: Maintain a clean, organised, and professional shop, fitting room, and stockroom; ensure products are displayed neatly by school, size, and category.

Stock Handling & Reporting: Receive and verify deliveries against delivery notes, conduct regular stock counts, monitor stock levels, and promptly report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.

Key Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, Apparel Management, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development, customer service, or a related field, preferably within the apparel, fashion, textile, or garment industry.

Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills, with good proficiency in English, Sinhala, and/or Tamil.

Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to prepare sales reports and maintain customer records.

Self-motivated and target-oriented, with a willingness to travel for customer visits, meetings, exhibitions, and market development activities as required.
