Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years of building production React Native applications.
• Strong proficiency in React Native, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, functional components, and React hooks.
• Hands-on experience with Redux Toolkit for state management, including asynchronous workflows and selectors.
• Experience with React Navigation, including stack navigation, nested navigators, typed routes, and deep linking.
• Experience building feature based mobile architectures with reusable components, services, APIs, hooks, and state management.
• Strong REST API integration experience using Axios, interceptors, authentication, retry handling, and network connectivity management.
• Experience with mobile databases such as Realm, including schema design, migrations, caching, and offline data handling.
• Understanding of native modules for React Native, TurboModules, Codegen, and native-platform integration.
• Working knowledge of Swift/Objective-C for iOS or Kotlin/Java for Android; experience across both platforms is preferred.
• Experience with Jest, React Native Testing Library, unit testing, integration testing, and test coverage.
• Familiarity with the React Native development and release toolchain, including Xcode, CocoaPods, Android Studio, Gradle, Metro, and Yarn.
• Experience with Firebase, Sentry, push notifications, analytics, remote configuration, and production monitoring.
• Knowledge of mobile security, including secure storage, authentication, TLS, certificate pinning, and protection of sensitive data.
• Experience managing development, staging, and production builds and releasing applications on the App Store and Google Play.
• Experience with Apple HealthKit, Health Connect, Highcharts, WebViews and white label mobile applications is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Flutter and Dart, or experience developing cross-platform applications with Flutter, is an added advantage.
• Strong problem solving, code review, mentoring, documentation, and cross functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain React Native features for iOS and Android.
• Take ownership of features from technical design and estimation through implementation, release, and production support.
• Build reusable components and maintain a scalable, feature based application architecture.
• Manage application state and asynchronous workflows using Redux Toolkit, including async thunks and selectors.
• Integrate REST APIs, native capabilities, local databases, analytics, notifications, and third-party services.
• Develop and maintain native bridges and TurboModules when functionality cannot be implemented entirely in React Native.
• Ensure application performance, accessibility, security, reliability, and consistent cross-platform behavior.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests using Jest and React Native Testing Library.
• Diagnose issues across React Native, iOS, Android, APIs, networking, and local storage.
• Review code, mentor engineers, and promote engineering standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, QA, data, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Support build preparation, QA testing, App Store and Google Play releases, and post release monitoring.
• Produce technical designs, estimates, task breakdowns, risk assessments, and implementation documentation.
• Address technical debt, security vulnerabilities, and performance issues, and identify opportunities to improve the development process.
