General Manager / Deputy General Manager – Human Resources

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic HR business partnership to sector leadership and align HR priorities with business objectives.

Lead workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.

Oversee HR service delivery and employee lifecycle management across SBUs and locations.

Drive employee engagement, employee experience, organizational development, and change management.

Ensure compliance with Group HR policies, governance standards, and procedures.

Monitor HR performance, workforce trends, people analytics, and key HR indicators.

Handle people-related risks, employee relations matters, and significant HR escalations.

Lead HR teams and strategic HR initiatives while monitoring KPIs and annual plans.

Collaborate with SBU HR leaders, Group HR functions, and stakeholders to maintain consistent HR practices.

Key Requirements

12–15 years of progressive HR experience, including substantial senior HR management experience.

Experience in Group HR or diversified/multi-business organizations.

Proven ability to manage HR across multiple companies or business units.

Track record of leading HR functions and implementing Group-wide HR strategies and organizational transformation.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.

MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

Candidates up to 45 years are preferred.
