ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leadership: Provide strong leadership and strategic direction to the Sales Engineering team, ensuring alignment with the client's objectives and customer expectations.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of highly skilled sales engineers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring optimal performance.
- Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of their telecommunications, digital services, and financial services solutions, and effectively communicate their value to potential customers.
- Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to engage with customers, understand their needs, and develop tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
- Post-Sales Support: Collaborate with technical teams to provide post-sales support to clients.
- Solution Design: Work with the product and technical teams to design and tailor solutions to address customer-specific challenges and opportunities.
- Sales Enablement: Provide training and resources to the sales team to enhance their technical knowledge, enabling them to effectively position their solutions.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance metrics for the Sales Engineering team, including conversion rates, solution quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure their solutions remain competitive and innovative.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- Master's Degree in Information Technology or Business Administration, or related qualification.
- 10+ years of work experience in technical sales with a proven record of success leading a team.
- Sound technical knowledge with understanding and/ or hands on experience in software development and web technologies.
- Excellent leadership and organizing skills.
- Creative problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to understand client requirements and translate it to technical teams.
