Job role overview

The Paid Media Specialist plays a crucial role in driving digital marketing strategies by planning, executing, and optimizing paid media campaigns across various platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of digital advertising channels, strong analytical skills, and the ability to leverage data to maximize campaign performance and ROI.

Responsibilities of the team

  • Develop and implement strategic digital campaigns across various platforms like Google Display Network, Facebook Audience Network, and Amazon Ads, ensuring they align with client objectives and surpass expectations.
  • Continuously optimize live media campaigns in real-time to meet or exceed client goals, adjusting strategies and tactics as needed to maintain pacing and performance.
  • Manage campaign budgets across multiple platforms on a daily, weekly, and quarterly basis to maximize ROI and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Specialists and Project Managers to plan upcoming campaigns, selecting the most effective platforms, target audiences, and creative strategies for implementation.
  • Provide support to clients in configuring accounts and tracking using tools like Google Tag Manager, ensuring accurate data collection for campaign performance analysis.
  • Deliver actionable insights derived from campaign reports to clients, making recommendations for optimization and improvement based on key performance indicators.
  • Facilitate client-facing calls and prepare comprehensive campaign reports, including performance metrics, analytics, and customized analysis to guide decision-making and drive results.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while also being capable of leading and supporting high-performing teams, providing necessary training and guidance to colleagues.
  • Contribute to the training and development of new team members, including Performance Marketing Analysts and Marketing Specialists, to ensure the continued growth and success of the team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in the digital marketing field in the capacity of a Performance Marketing Specialist or a similar position.
  • Proficient in utilizing analytics, attribution, and measurement systems for data-driven decision-making.
  • Essential skills include proficiency in Google Analytics and Hubspot for comprehensive data analysis and insights.
  • Optional proficiency in additional tools such as Google Data Studio, Microsoft Power BI, or Tableau for advanced data visualization and reporting capabilities.
  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication, enabling effective interaction and conveying complex ideas clearly.
  • A strong desire for success, characterized by a proactive approach to testing new strategies and continuous learning.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment, valuing teamwork and actively contributing to group efforts.
  • Proven leadership abilities, capable of providing support and guidance to teams in technical projects and collaborative activities.
  • Successfully managed multiple projects from inception to completion, showcasing effective project management skills.
  • Maintains high levels of organization and efficiency, even in fast-paced and dynamic work environments characterized by high energy.
