Business Development Executive

Job Description: As a Business Development Executive, your primary responsibility will be to drive the sales and market expansion of our diverse range of food products globally. Based in Sri Lanka, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, establishing, and nurturing relationships with potential clients, distributors, and partners in various international markets to our client in Dubai.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote and sell the company's food products on a global scale.
• Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities and potential markets for product expansion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and partners worldwide.
• Create and present tailored sales proposals to potential clients, demonstrating the value and quality of our food products.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with market demand and product enhancements.
• Travel to different markets to meet with potential clients, negotiate agreements, and participate in industry events or trade shows.
• Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to the management team.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly to maintain strong business relationships.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (2 - 3 years) in sales, business development, or a related field, preferably within the food industry or consumer goods sector.
• Strong understanding of international markets and a track record of successfully expanding business in diverse regions.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus.
• Willingness to travel extensively as required.
