We're seeking a motivated and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join our team. As a Learning and Development Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive learning and development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees. This role specifically involves communication and culture training, as well as previous experience as a trainer for financial and sales accounts.
What will you be doing?
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and objectives.
- Create innovative and interactive training materials such as e-learning modules, videos, workshops, and presentations.
- Facilitate highly effective training sessions and delivering engaging and impactful training sessions both in-person and remotely.
- Utilize various training methodologies, techniques, and tools to ensure maximum learner engagement.
- Conduct training needs assessments and evaluations.
- Regularly assess training needs and identify areas for improvement.
- Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Make recommendations for modifications and improvements based on evaluation outcomes.
Culture and Communications
- Adapt training content to different audiences, ensuring effective communication and understanding.
- Develop and implement training initiatives to promote a positive and inclusive organizational culture.
- Create and deliver training programs to enhance communication skills, including verbal, written, and non-verbal communication.
Financial and Sales
- Utilize prior experience as a trainer for financial and sales accounts to implement targeted training on sales techniques, product knowledge, and financial processes.
- Build and deliver training programs that enhance employees' understanding of financial concepts and their ability to effectively sell products/services.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in any field, preferably in Mass Communications or Business Administration.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Learning and Development Specialist, preferably as a trainer for financial and sales accounts; experience with Australian accounts is an advantage!
- Proven ability to deliver engaging and interactive training sessions using various methodologies and tools.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to captivate and address diverse audiences.
- Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to encourage participation and create a positive learning environment.
- In-depth knowledge of learning methodologies, instructional design principles, and adult learning theories.
- Familiarity with best practices in communication and culture training, as well as financial and sales training.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships with employees, trainers, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct training needs assessments and evaluate training effectiveness.
- Proficiency in using evaluation tools and techniques to measure the impact of training.
- Proficiency in using e-learning development tools, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and other relevant training technologies.
- Comfortable with virtual training platforms and online collaboration tools.
- The ideal candidate should be available and willing to start by January 2024.
