Position Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to join our team at Viridian. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing the objectives of our diverse portfolio of companies, coordinating with CEOs and the board, ensuring reporting and compliance, and actively seeking new investment opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a background in legal, finance, or a related field, with a proven track record in investment opportunities and fundraising.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Portfolio Management:Oversee the strategic direction and performance of Viridian's portfolio companies. Collaborate with CEOs and executive teams of portfolio companies to align strategies with Viridian's objectives. Monitor and evaluate the financial and operational performance of portfolio companies, identifying areas for improvement.

2. Reporting and Compliance:Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for portfolio companies. Manage compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Prepare regular reports for the board and investors, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics.

3. Financial and Legal Expertise (Not necessary, but helpful):Utilize your financial acumen to assess investment opportunities and potential risks. Evaluate legal documents and contracts related to investments, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Mitigate legal and financial risks associated with investments.

4. New Investment Opportunities (Not necessary, but helpful):Actively source and evaluate new investment opportunities in the Technology and Agriculture sectors. Collaborate with the investment team to conduct due diligence on potential investments. Assist in fundraising efforts to secure additional capital for Viridian's growth and expansion.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related field; advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, JD) are a plus.
• Proven experience in investment management, finance, legal, or a related field.
• Strong financial modeling or analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with the Technology and Agriculture sectors is advantageous.
