JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Sales Executive - Rental and Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth through the effective management of rental and sales activities. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Senior Sales Executive will work closely with the sales team, collaborate with the management team, and explore opportunities for export sales.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Rental Operations:
1. Achieve Rental Revenue Targets:
· Proactively identify and pursue rental business opportunities to meet revenue goals.
· Implement strategies for increased equipment utilization and minimal downtime.
2. Operational Efficiency:
· Collaborate with the operations team to streamline processes and reduce costs.
· Monitor equipment maintenance schedules for optimal performance and minimal disruptions.
3. Customer Satisfaction:
· Implement and manage a customer feedback system for continuous service improvement.
· Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly to ensure satisfaction.
4. New Equipment Integration
· Work closely with the rental operations team to integrate new aerial work platforms.
· Promote and market new equipment offerings to generate interest and increase rental revenue.
Sales:
1. Achieve Sales Revenue Targets:
· Generate sales leads, build and manage a sales pipeline to achieve revenue goals.
· Collaborate with the team and management to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
2. Market Expansion:
· Identify and analyze potential regions for sales expansion, providing detailed reports for decision-making.
· Establish and maintain client relationships in new and existing markets.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
· Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and exceptional customer service.
· Implement a customer loyalty program to increase repeat business and enhance customer retention.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
· Proven experience in sales of a minimum of 3 years, preferably in the construction equipment industry.
· Strong understanding of rental operations and sales processes.
· Proven track record and ability to meet sales quotas/targets.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
· Results-oriented with a focus on achieving revenue targets.
· Knowledge of import/export regulations and procedures.
· Experience or exposure with construction industry in Sri Lanka is a plus.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
