Responsibilities:

• Have a strong understanding of the YouTube Algorithm.
• Plan the edit.
• Create Animations if the edit requires them.
• Edit Videos to Maximize Retention.
• Know the basics of animation such as rigging, camera movement, etc.
• Be able to edit both short-form and long-form.
• Fast Turnaround times.
• Be able to convey emotion through sound (Good Sound Design).
• Be able to adapt your editing style as per the Project.

Qualification:

• Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio of work showcasing your skills in editing long-form and short-form video content for YOUTUBE.
• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe After Effects.
• Strong knowledge of video production and post-production workflows, including color grading, sound design, and visual effects.
• Proven experience in animation with knowledge of software such as Adobe After Effects.
• Familiarity with Basic Storytelling and pacing techniques such as the 3 Act Structure etc.
