Overall purpose of the position:

To be responsible on achieving the given KPI’S for the department and to analyse and forecast both creatively and numerically to uplift the department

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in selecting and purchasing merchandise for De Dapper and Be Desi, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and market demands.
• Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and sales data to make informed buying decisions.
• Collaborate with vendors, negotiate contracts, and build strong relationships to secure the best products at competitive prices.
• Assist in inventory management, including stock allocation and monitoring to optimize sales and minimize overstock situations.

Requirements:

• Graduate or a post graduate qualified in merchandising, fashion related or business administration
• A keen eye for fashion trends and a passion for the industry.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Prior experience in fashion retail, business or relevant field internship would be advantageous.
• Skills/core competencies required:
• Advance knowledge in MS Excel and other MS Office Passion for the industry, strong taste level
