Code94 Labs is a newly established, up-and-coming digital agency operating fully remotely. We cater to a wide clientele from different countries around the world, mainly based in Sri Lanka. We are a set of young individuals, therefore our working environment will be pretty flexible.

We are seeking a talented QA Engineer to join our team at Code94 Labs. If you have a passion for ensuring the quality of software products and enjoy working in a dynamic and flexible environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications.
• Perform manual and automated testing, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, and work closely with developers to reproduce, investigate, and resolve them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to ensure that quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools, and proactively identify opportunities to streamline and automate testing processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in software testing and quality assurance, and proactively explore and recommend new tools, technologies, and techniques to improve the testing process and enhance product quality.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, and sprint reviews to provide input on testing efforts and ensure alignment with project timelines and goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. (not required)
• Minimum of two years of experience in software quality assurance, with proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques and tools.
• Experience in working with enterprise scale projects.
• The flexibility to participate in work meetings during different time zones.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile methodologies like Scrum.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Appium.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java, with experience in writing automated test scripts.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.

Other Skills:

• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A passion for continuous learning and professional development, and a desire to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in software testing and quality assurance.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
