UI / UX Designer

We are looking for a talented UI Designer to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills, and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.

This role centers around creating fun, engaging UI artwork and user experiences for interactive technologies with a team of motivated and innovative artists and engineers.

Responsibilities:

● Help brainstorm future ideas and explore the viability of these ideas through mockups and pitches.

● Communicate design solutions to engineers and stakeholders to deliver solutions that address customer and business needs.

● Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.

● Construct interactive prototypes for web/mobile applications.

● Comprehensive understanding of color theory to create an awesome, unique color palette that injects some personality into the website or app.

● Establish brand guidelines that reinforce a brand’s style or voice through its visual touchpoints.

● Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks, think responsive design.

● Identify and troubleshoot UX problems based on qualitative data and feedback

● Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in the industry’s standards.

● Detail-oriented. Ability to deliver a polished product with strong attention to detail

Qualifications:

● 3+ years of experience as a UI-UX Designer or related position, preferably in the content creation or consumption space.

● BSc in Design, Computer Science, Communication, or relevant field.

● Love and passion for the design process.

● Familiarity with Human-Computer Interaction.

● Advanced knowledge of industry-standard tools.

● UI animation experience and awareness.

● Ability to rapidly iterate and produce multiple concepts.

● Understand and the ability to translate brand identity and objectives into digital experiences.

● Proficient with visual design programs such as Creative Cloud apps for design,

● Mastery of Sketch, Figma, Adobe, Marvel Workflows, etc.

● Knowledge in native app development using Android and iOS, and experience deploying to Google Play Store and App Stores.

● Understanding about frontend development (code), build, and the test life-cycle.

● UX writing.

● Experience and thorough understanding of Apple’s design language

● Experience and thorough understanding of Android Material design language

UI design portfolio which illustrates interaction design principles.

Portfolio of 2-4 relevant projects showcasing your thought process and design skills for mobile and web application UX and UI design

Bonus Qualifications

● Understanding the landscape and new developments in new media, tech, and/or entertainment industry.

● Experience with coding and the ability to troubleshoot using HTML, CSS, and comparable languages.

● Extensive knowledge of web development (HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript,).

● Familiarity with React & React Native tools.
