Job Role:

The Finance Assistant is to assist with the day-to-day operations of the finance department.

Job Duties:

• Maintaining and processing petty cash transactions on daily basis. Ensure petty cash is replenished on time to meet daily cash needs.
• Ensure all the financial documents are properly filed & tagged.
• Visit Bank for necessary collection & submission of financial documents.
• Photocopies & scanning of all necessary documents/Instrument.
• Update financial records with accounting system and various spreadsheets daily basis.
• Update the bank statement to the system.
• Check the Invoices and update to the accounting system daily basis.
• Identify the customer payments and apply to the invoices.
• Keep a track of receivables and follow up for the payments.
• Maintain a proper record of inventory and verify the availability in a weekly basis.
• Verify and record Supplier bills.
• Maintain Accounts payable records by updating the supplier transactions to the accounting system.
• Arrange timely payment to suppliers.
• Periodically reconcile the Supplier account balances.
• Help Accountant to perform various analysis and reconciliations.
• Suggest changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions.
• Adhere to the company’s or organisation’s financial policies and procedures.
• Support the management with any other administrative and financial transactions when needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Knowledge in MS excel /or Google sheets
• Should have completed Stage 2 or more in CIMA, ACCA, CA or any other similar qualifications or equant. Those who have completed stage 1 and reading stage 2 can also apply.
• Should have passed AL in commerce stream.
• Good knowledge about internet and web-based tools
