We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and creative Social Media Manager to join our digital marketing team. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the company's and clients' Social Media strategy to increase the online presence and support marketing and sales efforts. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with members of the digital and creative team to plan, create, and deliver engaging, creative, and audience-focused social media content taking into account brand guidelines and wider organizational ambitions and objectives.
  • In charge of posting to social media accounts on several platforms, according to a set schedule (as per the content plan). You may or may not be responsible for creating those accounts and the posting schedule.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of the monthly editorial calendar (according to the social media strategy) which, includes monthly sales objectives and initiatives.
  • Developing and administering social media content that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between consumers and brands.
  • Analyze the long-term needs of the company's or client's social media strategy and outline any necessary changes to the digital marketing plan.
  • Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between customers and the company, and ensure a positive customer service experience.
  • Build relationships and coordinate with online influencers for guest posts, social media takeovers, and brand feature opportunities.
  • Understanding a target audience and delivering unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention/engagement.
  • Monitor social media metrics and report learnings and insights back to the team and client (monthly reporting format).
  • Suggest, design, create, and manage promotions and make budget plans for social media ad campaigns.
  • Ability to collect and review social media insights to develop more effective campaigns.
  • Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency.
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media and apps.
  • Resolve customer issues through social media channels.
  • Simultaneously work toward multiple brand objectives.
  • Managing agency/vendor partnerships as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 2+ years of experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Social Media Tools.
  • Excellent analytical and time-management skills.
  • Creative skills for contributing new and innovative ideas.
  • Data analysis skills and statistical prowess to draw actionable insights.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects.
  • Knowledge and understanding of algorithms and search engine optimization.
  • Experience with technologies and best practices for web design, and creative design across multiple platforms.
  • Understanding the use of a range of social media platforms, particularly advertising/branding and customers.
  • Customer service skills to strike the balance between publicity and stimulating direct discussion with potential and actual customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
