Zirateh is a marketing agency that helps brands and businesses reach their target audience through engaging and creative short video content.

We are looking for a Video editor who can create captivating and viral videos for Tiktok, Youtube shorts and Instagram Reels. We need editors who can understand English content and create short videos from them.

Responsibilities

• Finding relevant and trending content from large videos or other sources and repurposing it for short video platforms
• Editing footage into short and catchy videos that fit the platform's format and guidelines
• Adding captions, subtitles, stickers, filters, music and sound effects to enhance the video quality and message
• Collaborating with the content team to understand the client's goals, brand voice and style
• Researching and staying updated on the latest trends, hashtags and best practices for short video platforms
• Optimising the videos for maximum reach, engagement and conversion

Requirements

• Excellent proficiency in English. Being able to understand English content and summarise it.
• Proven experience as an editor or a similar role in creating short video content for Tiktok, YouTube shorts and Instagram Reels
• Proficiency in using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar
• A keen eye for detail, aesthetics and storytelling
• A good sense of timing and pacing
• A creative and innovative mindset that can produce original and viral content
• A good understanding of the short video platforms' algorithms, audiences and culture
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
